Creative Christmas

Working in partnership with the Darnhill Festival Association, we developed a Creative Christmas pack full of festive activities for young people to try over the school holidays. The packs contain 16 activities and all the materials needed to make them.

Socially distanced Art for Wellbeing

We had to rethink our programme supporting adults with lived experience of mental health conditions. Instead of meeting face-to-face, we've offered telephone support and postcard art projects.

Life in Lockdown

Our project about the Manchester Overspill estates of the 50s and 60s, especially Darnhill in Heywood and Langley in Middleton took a virtual turn with a doorstep photography project capturing Life in Lockdown

Stepping Stones

Attitude

Through ‘Attitude’ young people in Rochdale and Oldham explored attitudes to gender, sexual identity and the pressures on both boys and girls to conform to certain behaviour and roles.

Unlocking Barriers

Over a period of 6 months in 2013 young people from Barnardo’s Rochdale Project worked with artist Graham Marsden to look at the barriers that disabled young people face in everyday life.

Tell Us Another One

Tell Us Another One (TUAO) was a creative writing project funded by Big Lottery Fund Reaching Communities and supported by local authorities in three Greater Manchester boroughs the project operates in – Rochdale, Bury and Oldham.
