Steve has worked with disadvantaged and neglected young people for over 30 years and has used creativity as a means of building self-esteem, confidence and good mental health. He is a strong advocate of the arts as a means of giving a voice to the voiceless and as a catalyst for transforming communities.

He is a self confessed geek and enjoys illustration, reading, writing, board games and music.

Steve's projects include working alongside the Darnhill Festival Association to coordinate the annual Darnhill Festival, as well as managing the Reclaim the Space project in Darnhill, Deeplish, Spotland and Falinge.
