IMPACT: Generate and Demonstrate, held in July 2015 was a conference for arts and health professionals, exploring arts and impact.  This event was part of our project Art for Wellbeing, which focuses on creative projects to support positive mental wellbeing.

Health professionals and Third Sector organisations shared creative solutions to generate positive mental wellbeing. Through creative tools and methodologies, a newly commissioned exhibition and film showcase, we also explored how to capture evidence to effectively communicate impact.

The conference included Talks, workshops and Q&As with:

Ian Mello Director of Commissioning and Provider Management, NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group

Alan Higgins, Director of Public Health Oldham

Nick Dixon, Commissioning Manager, Stockport MBC, Mental Health and Substance Misuse Services

Cartwheel Arts, Participatory Arts Charity, delivering Arts for a Reason

Venture Arts, Inclusive arts to support people who have a learning disability

Verd de Gris, Creativity to build relationships, trust and understanding
