Darnhill Festival Association

The DFA is a group of volunteers who have now overseen 13 summer festivals and 14 Christmas festivals.

In addition to this, the Association has been involved in a number of environmental projects, including the replacement of the playground in Darnhill and the layout of the community garden.

The committee holds a coffee morning every Monday morning in the community room at the Guinness Partnership offices in Darnhill, at which plans are made for a variety of fundraising activities throughout the year, including stalls at Heywood events such as the Forties Day and the Christmas Lights Switch on.

We are delighted that the Association continues to commission Cartwheel to project manage the summer festival.

The Association are always keen to welcome new members. If you would like to get involved, or could just help out on occasional events, please email darnhillfestival@gmail.com
