Power In Your Pocket

We would like to work with parents across the Rochdale borough to produce a book.

This is a great opportunity for you to work with some talented writers and create a book for your child, filled with your words; words of wisdom, advice, family stories, funny anecdotes, anything you would like to share but something you could keep forever.

We will also be using new technology, like tablets and your mobile phone to create an art piece using your photo's. You'll be amazed at what you can do with a mobile! Don't worry if you don't have one, we have spares you can borrow.

For those of you who are interested there we will even be running a CV workshop if you would like to update yours too.

It doesn't after if your spelling is a big rusty, or your hand writing is a little messy, because these sessions are all about ideas, and being creative.

The book will be published at the beginning of March and will be showcased at an event in Rochdale to celebrate with freinds and family.

The sessions are free and run for 5 more weeks they are open to parents with young children (pre- school, nursery, reception and primary) from Rochdale.

They are open to mums and dads and creche is available at the neighbouring Sure Start Centres except for Darnhill, but you must book on.
