Venue
Quality of experience for those attending and delivering at the conference is important to us. Chancellors Hotel is The University of Manchester’s conference venue. The Grade II listed mansion with bedroom extension is located in Fallowfield, Manchester, and is surrounded by five acres of beautiful gardens, providing a relaxed, scenic and picturesque setting. We will be based in the Flowers Theatre area with breakout rooms for workshops. The venue is fully accessible with plenty of parking.
The refreshments and lunch provided on the day will be of a high quality using fresh and locally sourced seasonal ingredients. The hot buffet lunch will be served in the restaurant and the afternoon refreshments served in the beautiful lounge area, overlooking the gardens.
We are also able to offer delegates and speakers discounted room rates. The hotel is 3-Star AA establishment with 70 en-suite bedrooms

Delegates
The conference is the same week as World Mental Health day (10th October 2016), offering us some good marketing opportunities and we are aiming for 80 delegates. We hope to engage mental health professionals, arts, third sector and voluntary organisations and statutory body representatives.
Delegates who attended the 2015 conference will be offered a discounted ticket price.

Funders
The event is funded through donations, Cartwheel Arts training delivery income and ticket sales. We are grateful for donations from QBE and Alyson Malach.
