Thanks to funding from the Rochdale Development Agency and GM Arts Bursary, Rochdale Borough Culture Network can offer access grants to freelance creative practitioners who wish to attend the Carbon Literacy Training. Further details about the Carbon Literacy Training, including upcoming dates can be found here:
Freelance practitioners can apply for either:
- £75 to attend a full day training in person, or
- £100 to attend 2 x half day training online
We have a total of £625 to administer.
Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a first come, first serve basis.
To apply, please send an email to admin@cartwheelarts.org.uk detailing:
- The date(s) you wish to attend the training
- The total amount of bursary you are applying for
- A brief description of your creative practice
- Your postcode
If successful, you will be responsible for booking on to the training date(s) you wish to attend via the Eventbrite booking link. You will also need to provide us with an invoice (we can provide a template if required). Please note, payment of the bursary will be made following attendance to the training.
Deadlines:
If you wish to attend the in-person training on Tuesday 19 th November, then your application must be submitted before 10am on Thursday 14 th November. Following this, the deadline will be rolling – however, applications must be submitted at least 3 working days in advance of the desired training date to be considered.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the grant, applicants must:
- be a resident of Rochdale Borough
- a self-employed freelance creative practitioner
We cannot fund individuals who will be attending on behalf of an organisation of which they are employed.
